The province of Newfoundland and Labrador is renowned
for his local culture which includes music, a unique
history and a style of music of it's own. An
integral part of that culture is Rufus Guinchard.
Rufus spent most of his life on the Great Northern
Peninsula in the towns of Daniel's Harbour and Hawke's
Bay. However, his musical influence is known all
over the province and worldwide. His unique fiddle
playing and his personable character will keep in the
memories of Newfoundlanders for years to come.
